Dr Thomas Smith
Clinical Psychologist
(DClinPsych., MSc., BSc)
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist in Liverpool, UK, and I am committed to providing high quality, effective psychological services for my clients. I will listen carefully to your needs, and the outcomes that you are aiming for, and tailor my approach to most effectively address the psychological issues that you bring.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC; Registration Number PYL041499). The HCPC provide assurances of safe and high standards of clinical practice.
I currently work in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist alongside being the director of Queer Therapies. I work in an integrative way - this means that my training has allowed me to incorporate many different ways of working that are tailored to you and your needs. I am currently only able to offer virtual appointments via Zoom.
Areas of Therapy
Therapy for queer and LGBT individuals, couples and families. I also work with people who do not identify as gay or queer, but want to experience an open and affirmative style of therapy.
This is not an exhaustive list of difficulties I can help with, indeed many people do not have a clear idea of what they want to work on in therapy.
